I'm Richard "Kip" Kane and I've been involved in the photographic industry for 30 years working mainly on locations in the U.K and Europe but also in Japan and the U.S.A. Lots of the photographs here were taken during quiet periods on these work trips. Other shots were taken whilst out walking or cycling or playing around with still life shots. They are very much non-commercial and hint at the way I see things.
The photos were captured on a mix of analogue film and digital.
The Chalk & Flint pictures became a project while living in East Sussex for 16 months. I made dozens of early morning trips to the Seven Sisters National Park to stand slightly too close to the cliffs at Hope Gap, Birling Gap and Cuckmere Haven. I loved seeing the changes in colour on any given day depending on the time and weather conditions.

I now live in South Somerset near the Levels which I am just beginning to explore and to photograph.
All photos are available as prints.
Shop for prints via the "buy prints" option or message me directly to find out more about sizes, papers, prices, shipping costs etc
Many thanks, Kip
